Nick Schmaltz scores again in win over the Buffalo Sabres

It seems like not even a week ago fans in Utah were questioning if Nick Schmaltz should be traded. A week later, and he had four goals in four games and looked the best he has all season.

Schmaltz's hot streak kicked off against the Montreal Canadiens on Nov. 26th, when he collected two assists.

Since then, he has been lights out. He had two goals against the Vegas Golden Knights, one against the Dallas Stars, and one against the aforementioned Sabres.

If the Utah Hockey Club wants to stay in playoff contention, they will need Schmaltz to keep playing like this.

Utah is next in action Sunday, Dec. 8, against the Philadelphia Flyers. They are coming off a loss where their head coach was visibly frustrated and made sure he said it to the media.

Schmaltz can be the different maker in that game tomorrow if he can continue playing at this pace.
