Kris Letang and Evgeni Malkin combined for one of the most bizarre own goals in NHL history during a game against the Coyotes on Monday night.
The Arizona Coyotes defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2 on Monday night, but there was a unique twist to this game.
The Coyotes had a delayed penalty and with the Penguins' net empty, Kris Letang passed the puck to Evgeni Malkin who was unable to handle the puck which led to an own goal.
This went down as one of the craziest plays of the 2023-24 season and it warranted a strong reaction on social media.
