The Coyotes are reportedly expected to loose Travis Dermott due to an injury with the timeline still unclear on his return.

According to PHNX Sports’ Craig Morgan, Arizona Coyotes defenceman Travis Dermott is expected to miss some time with an apparent injury.

Morgan reported that the timeline for Dermott is still unclear but it does seem like he will miss games.

The Coyotes recalled defenceman Michael Kesselring from the Tucson Roadrunners which is a sign that Dermott is indeed injured.

Kesselring played nine games for the Coyotes last season recording three assists and is pointless through his six games with the Roadrunners this season.

Dermott has played 10 games so far this season tallying a total of one assist while logging in 17:28 minutes a game.

The 26-year-old made headlines when he used Pride Tape to show support for the LGBTQ+ community on October 21.

This ultimately led to the NHL to reverse its original ban on Pride Tape changing the way players are able to express themselves.

Expect a further update regarding Dermott’s injury in the coming days.
