

The Utah Hockey Club has announced that defenseman Juuso Välimäki underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ACL. He is expected to be out for eight to nine months but is expected to make a full recovery.
Välimäki recently cleared waivers and was assigned to the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League. Unfortunately, he only played one game before suffering the injury and will now be out for the foreseeable future.
Report: Utah HC's Connor Ingram Enters NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program
The National Hockey League Players’ Association and the National Hockey League announced today that goaltender Connor Ingram of the Utah Hockey Club will be unavailable to his team for an indefinite period while he receives care from the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.
Välimäki currently has one more year remaining on his contract after this season, with an AAV of $2.5 million. He is expected to miss the beginning of training camp for the team.
