The Olympic track and field events are winding down, but the Utah Hockey Club have challenged a famous social media star to a potential event of its own.

The headline may be deceiving, but we already know how speedy Utah Hockey Club forward and first-round draft pick Tij Iginla is.

We're talking about a different speed here -- and he's got a name all his own.

That would be IShowSpeed (real name Darren Watkins, Jr.), a famous YouTuber who recently made headlines a month ago for learning the fastest game on ice with Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield.

The Utah Hockey Club also promoted Watkins on its own TikTok account last week, which showed still shots of him leaping over a car (with a Cristiano Ronaldo jersey donned on his back -- shoutout Cole Beaudoin).

It's the first picture of the post, though, that caught my attention.

Now, if you want to see the full post, you can click here, but as you scroll through, you'll see Tij Iginla take flight, and Speed will do the same through still photos.

You have to admit, for a forward who is about only six inches taller than yours truly, Tij has some serious hops.

And the fact Speed jumped straight over a car, a la the late Kobe Bryant, it gets you thinking what if these two competed in their own vertical jump or long jump competition.

After all, the caption said to "get speed to the [NHL] combine asap", and Speed did test his skills on the ice with Caufield in Montreal.

I don't know about you, but I would love to see these two go head-to-head in that kind of a competition, along with a good skate together.

That would be an Olympic event I would want to watch.
