The 21-year-old is off to a red-hot start, and he'll look to take that into tonight against the Senators.
Dylan Guenther signed an eight-year extension in training camp, and has rewarded the Utah Hockey Club with a historic scoring start to the season.
Despite not scoring in the last three games, he and his linemates have created plenty of chances, and they'll need that in tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators.
"Our line plays with a lot of speed," Guenther said after morning skate at Delta Center Tuesday. "I think that's kind of been the best thing for us. There's still areas we can improve, but off the rush, we're pretty good."
The rush is also something the Senators are very adept at, but Guenther added their defence is worth watching, stating discipline will determine the day.
Now he just needs to find something to do on his days off.
"It's getting a little chilly here," he said. "I'm just excited to see the snow on the mountains."
