Although it has been reported that the Utah Hockey Club has no intention of being sellers at the March 7 trade deadline, it doesn't stop other NHL clubs from calling on some interesting names.

Utah HC's Home Win Streak Ends with 3-1 Loss to New Jersey Devils Utah HC's Home Win Streak Ends with 3-1 Loss to New Jersey Devils Riding the momentum of its dominant 6-1 victory over Minnesota Wild on Tuesday, Utah was brought back down to Earth after a 3-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils.

Utah has a handful of players who could be on the move regardless of the team's direction at the deadline. Players like forward Matias Maccelli, who hasn’t played since February 8, could use a change of scenery.

Also, Nick Bjugstad and Alex Kerfoot, along with the very unlikely option of Karel Vejmelka, are all on expiring deals that could be moved for other pieces.

Again, with Utah being in the thick of the Western wild card race, trading Vejmelka doesn't make a ton of sense—unless, of course, they bring in someone else to replace him.

Whereas parting with Bjugstad and Kerfoot makes more sense. They are on expiring deals and could be replaced via trade.

Lastly, Maccelli’s time in Utah looks to be over. He will more than likely be traded at this deadline. A team that could take a look is the Chicago Blackhawks, but there will be contenders looking for depth who could also show interest.
