Auditions to join the team will be held Saturday at the Kearns Olympic Oval.
The Utah Hockey Club's hype squad is continuing to grow.
After announcing their inaugural television broadcast team for the season, the club is now looking for people to join their ice crew, as stated in a press release today.
To join the crew, which will be sponsored by Utah-based dessert company Tru Fru, participants must be 18 or over, and register by tonight at 11:59p.m. Mountain time here.
Those who choose to register will be invited to audition on Saturday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the Olympic Oval, Utah's inaugural season practice facility, across the street from Kearns High School.
It should be noted helmets and skates will not be provided by the club; participants are required to bring their own.
The job description for ice crew is very simple: to help maintain the ice during the game through dry scraping at every television timeout, along with assistance in on-ice promotions and gameday productions at Delta Center.
