Training camp is off and running for the Utah Hockey Club as the countdown officially begins to opening night on October 8.
However, the club made two more big moves Thursday to solidify their community outreach.
Nomi Health Partnership
The team first announced a partnership with Nomi Health, a Utah-based health economics company, to provide up to 100 upper-bowl tickets for free to a select group of people in the community.
The tickets, which also include a free hot dog and non-alcoholic beverage, are available to those charitable organizations and even schools who qualify through registering on this link.
“So many of us, like I do, have memories of going to games, an experience far too many families don’t have access to today,” Nomi Health CEO Mark Newman said in a press release. “We’re excited to partner with Utah Hockey Club to give more Utahns the opportunity to cheer on the best franchise in hockey right here in our great state.”
UtahHC+ and SEG+
Utah HC also unveiled its official streaming app and service, UtahHC+, Thursday, coupled with SEG+, the app that will bundle both the Utah Jazz and Utah HC coverage into one.
Tyson Nash, who last served as the Arizona Coyotes' color commentator, will be the host of Fresh Ice, a documentary/interview series streaming only on UtahHC+.
Additionally, all games will be available to stream on UtahHC+ for just $69.99/year, which includes all seven nationally televised matches on ESPN and TNT Sports.
Those who subscribe before 11:59 p.m. MT on September 30 will also be eligible to receive two single-goal view tickets and 50% any purchase over $250 at the Utah Jazz store.
“There has never been a more exciting time to be a sports fan in Utah, and we are committed to making sure our fanbase can easily engage in every minute of the action coming this season,” Caroline Klein, chief communications officer for Smith Entertainment Group said in a press release.
