In a press release on Monday, Utah Hockey Club announced their home opener will be against an Original Six foe on October 8 at Delta Center.
The Windy City is coming to Salt Lake City.
The Utah Hockey Club knows its opening night opponent; the club will face the Chicago Blackhawks on October 8 at Delta Center at 8:00p.m. MT.
The TV network will be announced later.
“We are thrilled to play the first regular season game in franchise history, at home, in front of our amazing fans,” president of hockey operations Chris Armstrong stated in the release. “The eyes of the hockey world will be on Utah when we host the Blackhawks on that historic night, and we look forward to rising to the occasion.”
The remainder of Utah’s schedule will be released tomorrow, July 2, at 12:00pm ET (10:00am MT).
