The Utah Mammoth are officially back on the ice, with 55 players reporting to training camp as the organization begins its push toward the 2026-27 season.
The Utah Mammoth will officially hit the ice for the 2026-27 season on Thursday, with 55 players set to report for training camp as the organization begins preparing for another important season.
Utah will hold its first on-ice session at 11 a.m. MT on Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Utah Mammoth Ice Center. The camp will run through Friday, Sept. 25, giving coaches more than a week to evaluate the organization's returning players, offseason additions and prospects competing for opportunities.
The 55-player group includes 32 forwards, 18 defensemen and five goalies.
Among the notable forwards expected to participate are Clayton Crouse, Logan Cooley, Dylan Guenther, Barrett Hayton, Clayton Keller, Anders Lee, Nick Schmaltz and Vincent Trocheck.
The defensive group features Brandon Holt, Zac Jones, Maveric Lamoureux, Nate Schmidt, Mikhail Sergachev, Dmitri Simashev, Cal Thomas and MacKenzie Weegar, while the goaltending group includes Sebastian Cossa, Michael Hrabal, Jaxson Stauber, Karel Vejmelka and Jesper Vikman.
The roster also includes 20 players who participated in Utah's rookie camp, giving the organization another opportunity to evaluate several of its younger players alongside established NHL talent.
The Mammoth will divide the roster into two groups for on-ice work, with the team expected to announce the group assignments Thursday before the opening session. Media availability will follow each practice throughout camp.
For Utah, the next nine days will provide the first extended look at how the pieces of the 2026-27 roster begin to come together.
