Utah Mammoth Fans Can Now Put Their Team Pride on the Road

Utah Mammoth fans can now take their team spirit from the arena to the open road.

The franchise's official specialty license plates are now available to order through the Utah DMV, giving supporters their first opportunity to put the Mammoth's branding on their vehicles since the club relocated from Arizona in 2024.

The plates prominently feature the Mammoth's official branding and marks, which were unveiled after Utah officially adopted its permanent identity in 2025. For a franchise still writing its earliest chapters, the new plates offer fans another visible way to embrace a team that has quickly become part of the state's sporting landscape.

The initiative also carries a charitable component. Beyond the standard plate fee and required contribution, a portion of proceeds from public sales will benefit the SEG Foundation, supporting youth and community programs throughout Utah.

“This plate will generate funds for the SEG Foundation to support programs for Utah’s youth and community,” the official DMV listing states.

The plates may also be personalized with up to six alphanumeric characters, though they are not available for motorcycles.

Fans have already been quick to get behind the new design.

“First of all, I ordered the Mammoth plate to show my fandom,” Utah fan Brandon Merrill said. “There’s nothing I love more than being in the community and spotting another Mammoth fan as it has united the state in such a fun way.”

For Merrill, however, the appeal goes beyond simply displaying his allegiance.

“With the proceeds going to support youth hockey, it’s a no-brainer as we try to build up our programs in Utah,” he said.

For Mammoth fans, the newest way to represent the franchise has officially arrived—and soon, Utah roads may have a lot more Mammoth purple.
