Happy Sunday, Utah Mammoth fans. We hope everyone is staying safe out there. A quiet Sunday morning is always a good time to grab a coffee and catch up on some Mammoth content from the week that just wrapped up.

This past week, we went heavy into 2025 NHL Draft coverage. With the draft now less than a week away, things are only going to get busier from here. Make sure to keep checking back, as there’s going to be a ton of news coming out. I also launched a new weekly series that will be dropping every weekend. It’s focused on news and notes around the Mammoth, so if you’re into rumors and quick updates, that’s the one to watch for. The next edition comes out later today.

As for draft content, we looked at several different options for Utah with their first-round pick. We also started digging into second-round targets, with more names set to roll out in the days ahead. There will also be a full Mammoth-focused mock draft coming later this week as we get closer to Friday.

The Utah Mammoth have an interesting predicament ahead of them. With only a week to the 2025 NHL Draft, they own the fourth overall pick after jumping up 10 spots in the Lottery. There is talk that they could be willing to trade down to draft Brady Martin, who is someone that they really liked after the NHL Draft Combine. However, they also hold the 46th pick in the second round, and there’s a chance they could steal a potential first-round talent at that spot.
