The Utah Hockey Club future looks bright, but it looked even brighter last night after their win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
The young guns for Utah HC came to play and were the reason behind the win. It all started with yet another stellar performance from Jaxson Stauber, who has now gone 7-1-0 in his first eight games in the NHL (2022-23 &2024-25).
Stauber stopped 20 of 22 shots that he faced to help his team take the game 4-2.
Logan Cooley broke the tie to give his club the lead, and they never looked back. Cooley received a pass from Dylan Guenther and deked out Sam Ersson to put it home on a pretty finish.
Cooley also assisted on Juuso Välimäki's goal, to give him two points on the night.
These are the types of games that the Utah organization are excited to see. Their young stars showing up and leading their team to a win. As a Utah HC fan, it is exciting to see, hopefully they can continue this going forward.
What's Next - Utah HC return home to play the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m.
