The forward also spoke about how the fans at Delta Center gave them the extra gear to win Saturday's slugfest with Boston.
Michael Kesselring may have scored Saturday's winning goal against the Boston Bruins, but it would not have come without the assistance of Barrett Hayton in front of the net.
The forward now looks to bring that same energy to tomorrow's game against the Ottawa Senators, whom he called "fast and dangerous".
"They create a lot of offence off their rush," he added. "At the same time, they've been a really good defending team this year."
One thing that Utah will have on their side is a potent defence of their own, anchored by the fourth line of Matias Maccelli, Kevin Stenlund, and Kailer Yamamoto.
The trio ate up close to 15 minutes of ice time each on Saturday, and had a huge hand in shutting down Boston's top line of David Pastrnak, Charlie Coyle, and Brad Marchand.
"Whoever they faced, they did a hell of a job," Hayton said. "That depth makes us a whole different animal to play against."
What also makes Utah a different animal is the fans.
An announced crowd of 16,007 filled Delta Center Saturday night, and another large gathering is expected tomorrow as Utah looks to snatch their fifth win of the season.
And with Utah looking to start 3-0 at home, you can be assured the fans will be as loud as they want to be about their team.
"The energy they brought gives us so much life," Hayton said. "They definitely deserved credit in that win (over Boston)."
