Goldeneyes Re-Sign Gardiner And Daniel, Protecting Both

Jennifer Gardiner and Izzy Daniel are staying with the Vancouver Goldeneyes after the duo re-signed on Wednesday.

Both were required to sign in Phase 3 of the PWHL expansion player distribution process after receiving Foundational Player Offers from expansion teams in Phase 2.

Gardiner, who finished the season tied with Sarah Nurse and Sophie Jaques for the team's goal-scoring lead (9), signed a three-year Standard Player Agreement that will keep her with her hometown team through the 2028-29 season. She finished the 2025-26 season within the PWHL's top-20 in points for the second consecutive season, putting together a 19-point season this year.
