The Vancouver Canucks take on the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.

The Vancouver Canucks (9-5-3) wrap up their six-game homestand on Tuesday with a visit from the New York Rangers (11-4-1). Like the Canucks, the Rangers have been almost unbeatable on the road this season, posting a 6-1-0 record through seven games. With a win, Vancouver can finish their homestand with a .500 record, having gone 2-3-0 during the previous five games.

For the Canucks to win, they need to fire everything they can and actually hit the net. This season, New York is averaging 31.7 shots against per game, which is the fifth most in the entire NHL. While beating Igor Shesterkin is never an easy task, if Vancouver can overwork the Rangers goaltender, they might be able to get enough pucks behind him to pick up the win.

    Players to Watch:

    J.T. Miller:

No player will be under more pressure to perform on Tuesday than J.T. Miller. Coming off a game where he was benched for the majority of the third period, Miller should be motivated to make a statement against his former team. If he can put together a vintage Miller performance, it will go a long way in helping Vancouver defeat New York.

    Artemi Panarin:

While teams have tried, no one seems to be able to slow down Artemi Panarin. The Rangers left winger is up to 24 points in 16 games and enters the matchup on a seven-game point streak. If given enough time and space, he will make the Canucks pay on the scoreboard.

    Vancouver Canucks Projected Lineup:
