Vancouver will have an advantage in this game, as Dallas did play Saturday night in Edmonton. With a victory, the Canucks would push their home winning streak to five games while jumping back above the playoff bar.

If Vancouver wants to win this game, they can't play like they did on Friday against the Minnesota Wild. While Lankinen was stellar in that game, he can't be relied upon every night to stand on his head, while the team only generates 20 shots on goal. If the Canucks can drive play and create sustained pressure in the offensive zone, they should be able to capitalize on what will be a tired Stars team.

Brock Boeser:
Brock Boeser enters Sunday's game on a two-game point streak. The right-winger has three assists in his past four games, generating six shots over that time. Currently playing with Jake DeBrusk and Pius Suter, a goal from Boeser would ignite the Rogers Arena crowd while also moving him one step closer to 200 for his career.
Mikko Rantanen:
Dallas made a massive splash at the deadline, acquiring winger Mikko Rantanen from the Carolina Avalanche. Rantanen did not disappoint in his first game with the Stars, recording a goal and an assist on Saturday night. While it will be difficult to shut down Rantanen completely, the Canucks need to do their best to limit his chances; otherwise, he will end up on the scoresheet.
