The Vancouver Canucks wrapped up their 2024 Training Camp with a Blue versus White scrimmage. Despite being outshot 29-16, Team Blue was victorious, defeating Team White 2-1. Here is a look at some of the players who stood out during the scrimmage.

Conor Garland, Aatu Räty And Nils Höglander

The trio of Conor Garland, Aatu Räty, and Nils Höglander was easily the best line during the scrimmage. They combined for Garland's game-winning goal and played physically throughout the 40-minute session. It is clear the trio has chemistry and will most likely get some time together during the preseason.

    Artūrs Šilovs

The best goaltender during the scrimmage was Artūrs Šilovs. He stopped all 16 shots he faced in the first half, making quite a few highlight-reel saves. Vancouver's projected starter if Thatcher Demko is not ready to start the season, Šilovs looked dialled in just like he has for most of Training Camp.

    Ty Young

The best prospect on the ice was goaltender Ty Young. He stopped 12 of the 13 shots he faced, which included robbing Brock Boeser with a cross-crease save. Overall, it was an impressive performance by Young, who was able to hold onto the lead and propel Team Blue to victory.

The Canucks kick off their 2024 preseason at home on Tuesday versus the Seattle Kraken. While rosters have not been set, it is more than likely that Team White will hit the ice at Rogers Arena against Seattle. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm PT.
