For the first time in franchise history, the Abbotsford Canucks are headed to the Calder Cup Final. Their opponent will be the Charlotte Checkers, who have dominated this post-season, going 10-2 en route to an Eastern Conference Championship. As Charlotte had a better regular season record, they will have home-ice advantage during this series.

After playing Games 1 and 2 on the road, the Canucks will return to the Abbotsford Centre for Games 3, 4 and 5. As of writing, all three games are already sold out according to Ticketmaster. If the series goes beyond Game 5, the Checkers will host Games 6 and 7 at the Bojangles Coliseum.
