The Vancouver Canucks will be without center Filip Chytil on Sunday when they take on the Utah Hockey Club. Chytil left Saturday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks after he took a dangerous hit from behind by Jason Dickinson. Despite the hit being dangerous and resulting in an injury, no penalty, fine or suspension was issued to Dickinson.

While Rick Tocchet wouldn't use the word concussion, he did confirm that Chytil is in protocol at the moment. When asked about the protocol, Tocchet said, "Yes. Basically, that is what he is doing. Like I said, he's had a few in the past, and we'll see how this turns out. Sometimes, these things can rapidly turn good, so you gotta stay positive on that."
As Tocchet mentioned, Chytil does have a history of concussions. He suffered one last season, which limited him to just ten games. Chytil also sustained an upper-body injury earlier this season but has said it was not a concussion.
The big question with Chytil is if he will be able to travel on the Canucks upcoming six-game road trip. Tocchet was unable to confirm if Chytil would be available, saying, "The next 48 hours, we will see how he feels." The upcoming road trip, which starts on March 20, will be a sentimental one for Chytil as he will get to play the New York Rangers for the first time since being traded on January 31.
As for Vancouver, they have a massive game on Sunday against the Utah Hockey Club. According to Tocchet, Jonathan Lekkerimäki will draw into the lineup, while Nils Åman will move from the wing to center. Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 pm PT from Rogers Arena.
