The Vancouver Canucks made two roster moves Thursday, placing defencemen Jett Woo and Guillaume Brisebois on waivers. The two moves were made so that the organization could assign both defenders to the Abbotsford Canucks. If neither is claimed, both will be officially assigned to Abbotsford tomorrow.

Drafted in 2015, Brisebois was limited to just eight games last season due to injury. The 27-year-old has played 249 games at the AHL level, with 70 of those coming as a member of the Canucks. Brisebois did not get into a pre-season game before being placed on waivers and spent Training Camp as part of Group C.

Woo has also spent his entire career with the organization. Drafted in 2018, he has played 172 games with Abbotsford, which ranks third all-time. Last season, Woo played 62 games in the AHL, scoring seven goals and recording 31 points.
