After being drafted by the Canucks 107th overall in 2023, Alriksson moved from the J20 Nationell to Guelph. During his first OHL season, he scored 17 goals and added 16 assists in 67 games. Alriksson had started the 2024-25 season strong, leading the Storm with 11 goals in 26 games before he was traded.

Before going back to the OHL this season, Alriksson signed an entry-level contract with Vancouver. He played in multiple games during the pre-season, where he demonstrated how he can play a physical game. Alriksson is one of three players from the Canucks 2023 Draft class to sign with the organization, joining Sawyer Mynio and Ty Mueller.

While Brampton currently ranks eighth in its conference, it is loaded with talent. Alriksson will have the opportunity to play with NHL-drafted prospects like Seattle Kraken's Carson Rehkopf and Calgary Flames' Luke Misa, as well as 2025 lottery pick Porter Martone. The Steelheads' next game is Wednesday, December 18, when they travel to Brantford to take on the Bulldogs.
