Starting with Forsell, he and Färjestad BK kicked off their Champions Hockey League season with a commanding 5-0 win over the Lahti Pelicans. As for Forsell, the Canucks prospect scored the Färjestad BK opening goal, which ended up being the game-winner. He also played 13:59 while recording two shots in the victory.
