The Vancouver Canucks have unveiled their preseason schedule. The team will face the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Seattle Kraken twice each starting with a September 24th game at the Saddledome in Calgary.
The preseason starts with three straight road games and concludes with three home affairs. Although one of the home games -- October 4th against Seattle -- will take place in Abbotsford. This will mark the fourth straight season the Canucks have taken a game to the home of their American Hockey League affiliate. In recent years, the Canucks have faced Ottawa, Calgary and last season Edmonton at the Abbotsford Events Centre.

With on-going construction of an ice level premium suite and the instillation of a new scoreboard at Rogers Arena it's interesting to note the delayed start and the limited nature of the home portion of the preseason schedule.
It's also worth noting that the team's preseason opener in Calgary overlaps with the club's September 21st to 25th training camp in Victoria.
The six-game fixture marks a reduction in preseason games for the Canucks. The team played seven last season including a split-squad opener with the Flames.
