Bains leads the Abbotsford Canucks with 29 points in 29 games this season.
After a solid start to the season, Arshdeep Bains is headed to the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic. This year's event will be held in San Jose on Feb. 4 and 5, 2024, consisting of a skills competition and a mini-tournament between the four divisions. This will be Bains' first time at the event as he looks to help the Pacific Division retain their crown from last season.
This year, Bains has taken a massive step in his overall development. The 23-year-old needs just nine points to tie his total from last season and is projected to break Sheldon Rempal's franchise record of 69 that was set in 2021-22. Whether it is at even-strength, on the power play or even while shorthanded, he continues to produce for Abbotsford and show that he is ready for a call-up whenever the Vancouver Canucks need him.
