Vancouver picks up their first win in Pittsburgh since 2018.

Elias Pettersson recorded four points, including the overtime winner, as the Vancouver Canucks (28-11-3) defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins (27-9-4) 4-3 on Thursday night. With the victory, Vancouver extended their win streak to four games and are 7-2-1 in their last ten. This was also the 22nd time this season the Canucks have gone perfect on the penalty kill, which surpasses their total of 21 from the 2022-23 campaign.

Vancouver Canucks 2023-24 Mid-Season Report

For the fourth straight game, the lotto line delivered for Vancouver en route to a victory. The trio of Pettersson, Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller combined for four goals and nine points as they produced all of the offence for the Canucks against the Penguins. Now, with a combined 27 points in their last four games, they have been virtually unstoppable since being put back together and, along with Filip Hronek, occupy four of the top five point totals in the NHL since Jan. 6.

Here is what Pettersson had to say postgame about the success of the lotto line:

"We had that chemistry from the past. We are just trying to work hard, rely on each other and see what the play is ahead of us; not try to complicate things. Obviously, it's a really good start from our line, and keep it going."
