For the 2024 All-Star event, the NHL has decided to change how it runs. In years past each All-Star would compete in one challenge but this year only 12 players will be competing.
Hughes, Miller and Pettersson will compete in eight events and the player with the most points will take home the prize of $1 million.
Hughes and Miller are both enjoying great seasons and they are both a massive reason as to why the Canucks are performing so well. Hughes has 11 goals and 53 points, tied for the lead among defensemen in the NHL. Miller has 20 goals and 61 points and sits tied for fourth in the NHL.
Canucks fans have been enjoying the successful season and have shown their gratitude by sending a league-leading five players to Toronto for All-Star weekend.
