The career Canuck, who has been with the team since he was drafted almost a decade ago, has been uncertain about his future in Vancouver throughout the entire 2024–25 season. This comes a year after his career season in which he scored 40 goals and 33 assists. Throughout the season’s negotiation process, Boeser’s return to Vancouver has seemed more and more unlikely — but that doesn’t mean his return is impossible. “If this is it, I’m sure I’ll be back a lot, so this'll always be home to me.” If it does come down to free agency, Boeser noted that winning will factor into his decision. “All that I want to do is win. And last year was so fun when we were winning in playoffs, and that whole experience was a blast, most fun in my career.
