Each of the NHL’s 32 teams will be represented by one adorable and adoptable furry friend at the NHL’s Stanley Pup competition on June 8. The competition will pit the teams against one-another as they vy for the Stanley Pup to show support for animal adoption. This year, Vancouver’s representative is none-other than Zeev Boop-Em (evidently named after Zeev Buium), a defender who is “running for the office of boopmaster general.” Other representatives around the league include Quinn Chews of the Minnesota Wild [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/minnesota-wild/], Macklin Celewienie of the San Jose Sharks [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/san-jose-sharks], and Evan Boucharf of the Edmonton Oilers [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/edmonton-oilers/].
