Arshdeep Bains Makes NHL Debut All reports suggest that Vancouver Canucks forward Arshdeep Bains will make his NHL debut against the Colorado Avalanche tonight. Bains will join Robin Bawa, Manny Malhotra, and Jujhar Khaira as the only Punjabi to play in the NHL. He grew up in Surrey and will be living out a dream come true. He's been playing for the team's AHL affiliate in Abbotsford and is their leading scorer. He also won MVP at the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic. The Canucks are looking to respond after yesterdays insane 10-7 loss to the Minnesota Wild. Bains' energy and skill will help the bottom-six forward group.
