Another awkward situation was after Saturday's win during the post-game media scrums. Due to the reports, Miller and his teammates were asked multiple questions regarding his future in Vancouver. While Miller refused to discuss the rumours in depth, he did say, "I’m planning on being a Canuck today, tomorrow. Whatever happens, happens. I'm focused on the next game." This all leads into Monday when Vancouver returns to the ice after a day off. Regardless of whether Miller is requested to speak, the topic of trade will come up with both teammates and coach Rick Tocchet. Despite some objections from those on social media, this line of questioning will occur as it is currently not just a major story surrounding the team but one that has gauged league-wide interest. At this point, it is very clear that the Canucks are looking to move Miller as soon as possible. Until then, though, there will be some awkwardness surrounding the team.
