Adin Hill re-signed with the Vegas Golden Knights, the team announced Friday.

The deal is for two years with an annual average value of $4.9 million.

The 27-year-old helped the Golden Knights win the Stanley Cup with his stellar play in the postseason. He went 11-4 with a .932 save percentage and 2.17 goals-against average and finished third in Conn Smythe Trophy voting as the Stanley Cup Playoffs most valuable player.

Hill also set career-highs in the regular season, starting 25 games with 16 wins. He had a 2.50 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.

Hill's re-signing brings forth an interesting situation with follow goalie Robin Lehrer. The Golden Knights, with Lehner's contract, are over the salary cap by $1.4 million. Vegas will likely place Lehner on LTIR to make room for Hill's contract, which would open up roughly $5 million.

With Hill re-signed, the Golden Knights have addressed some of the bigger questions surrounding their free agents.

There are still restricted free agents Pavel Dorofeyev and Brett Howden to re-sign, so the Golden Knights still have to work to do if they plan on bringing back their Stanley Cup winning roster.
