William Karlsson sustained a lower-body injury; will be reevaluated next week
Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said that William Karlsson will be out for the next two games with a lower-body injury.
Karlsson is having a great year thus far. He’s third on the team with 32 points (15 goals, 17 assists) and is an excellent two-way player for the Golden Knights.
“We’ll see next week where he’s at,” Cassidy said.
The ripple effects of losing the second-line center are already being felt. Mark Stone will move back to the second line with Chandler Stephenson, while Jonathan Marchessault will be back with Jack Eichel on the top line with Ivan Barbashev.
“We figured we might go back to that at some point,” Cassidy said.
Keegan Kolesar also missed the skate but is expected to play on Thursday.
