Forward used proceeds from his hockey camp to donate to the nonprofit organization.

Jack Eichel donated $40,000 to Best Buddies International, a nonprofit supporting those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He invited 50 Best Buddy participants to enjoy lunch and trick-or-treat from various Vegas Golden Knight players in costume.
Eichel worked with the organization previously with the Buffalo chapter, and continued supporting the organization when he moved to Southern Nevada.
The donation came from a portion of the proceeds from Eichel’s JE9 Hockey Camp, which took place in July.
“Best Buddies is something that means a lot to me,” Eichel said. “My older sister used to be a special needs teacher, so it’s something that touches close to home. It’s a great organization and so happy to be part of it.”
