Golden Knights defenseman Zach Whitecloud is out of Saturday's game against the New York Islanders.

Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Zach Whitecloud will miss Saturday's game against the New York Islanders.

Tobias Bjornfot will make his Vegas Golden Knights debut in his place. 

Whitecloud has five points (two goals and three assists) this season. He missed the first portion of the season with a wrist injury.

"Zach had an injury from the Florida game, and so we decided with Tobias here, we would use him," Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. "[Zach's injury] is not long term by any means."
