Mark Stone or Jack Eichel? Between a rock and a hard place when choosing Golden Knights mid-season MVP.

It's time to hand out the mid-season awards for the Vegas Golden Knights.
The defending Stanley Cup champions enter the break winning four of its last six and look to build some momentum, heading into a likely playoff berth.
So here are the site's choices for the various awards:
Assuming health, Stone will likely lead the team in points as he tends to find the scoresheet whenever he plays a game. He’s on pace for 82 points for the season.
Marchessault has two hat tricks this season and should lead the team in goals as the 50-game mark. Marchessault is on pace for a 50-goal season, which wouldn’t be bad in a contract year.
This will be a point of discussion, but Stone will be the Hart winner of the Golden Knights at the 50-game mark. He’s stayed healthy and has elevated his game in the absence of Jack Eichel.
McNabb is not a sexy pick by any means as he’s third among defenseman in points on the team. But his overall defense and value from the blue line cannot be ignored this season.
This one was also tough, as Logan Thompson played significantly more games than Hill. Hill, however, was putting up Vezina numbers before he got hurt and returned to form the moment he got back. Flip a coin, however. Both goalies have been great early in the season.
Stone would also be in consideration for this, but at the time of his injury Eichel was leading forwards in takeaways and time on ice. Stone always plays excellent defense, but Eichel has been more dynamic with his two-way play.
Dorofeyev is Calder eligible. He’s the best young player that sees the ice regularly for a team filled with veterans. That’s not to say Dorofeyev hasn’t made his mark. In 29 games played. He has 14 points. He’s just stuck behind a glut of veterans.
We couldn’t lead Karlsson off this list, so here you go William. The former Lady Byng trophy winner has 32 points in 38 games this season.
Sure. He has six penalty minutes this season in 43 games played. If that doesn’t exemplify the Lady Byng, what does?
