Golden Knights goalie unavailable for tonight's game against Colorado Avalanche
Vegas Golden Knights goalie Adin Hill was expected to make his return against the Colorado Avalanche tonight.
But there was always a caveat that if he didn't feel good or the medical team did not clear him, he would sit out another game.
One of those two things must have occurred as the Golden Knights social media account tweeted that the team recalled Isaiah Saville has been recalled from Henderson of the American Hockey League. Hill remains on injured reserve.
Jiri Patera will start in net for the Golden Knights against the Avalanche.
Saville has not played yet for the Golden Knights this season, but is 4-3-0 with a .914 save percentage in seven game plays with the Silver Knights.
In other lineup news, Michael Amadio will not play due to illness, meaning the Golden Knights will likely dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen.
William Carrier also had successful upper-body surgery and remains week-to-week.
