The Maloof Brothers - George, Gavin, Joe, and Phil - have sold their indirect ownership interest to the Foley family, the team announced Thursday.

Adrienne Maloof will keep her indirect ownership interest, as a limited partners.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal estimates the four Maloof Brothers to have owned 15 percent of the team. They are the former owner of the NBA's Sacramento Kings.

The Golden Knights, according to Roustan Media, have a valuation of $1.5 billion. Foley paid $500 million as an expansion fee when he wanted the Golden Knights to join the NHL.

“We would like to thank the entire Maloof family for their contributions to the Vegas Golden Knights organization during their tenure as minority owners,” Foley said in a press release. “They were helpful in bringing NHL hockey to Las Vegas and had a belief and commitment to our city as a viable major professional sports market. We wish the family continued success.”
