The Kings have a deep forward group. Can they challenge for the Pacific Division crown?

The Vegas Golden Knights will face threats from all teams in the Pacific Division. Some threats are naturally more dangerous than others.
In this article, we take a look at the Los Angeles Kings.
Vegas tied the season series 2-2 against Los Angeles Kings. Overall, the Kings are 14-15-1 against the Golden Knights in the regular season.
Austin Stanovich, site editor of The Hockey News’s Los Angeles Kings site, said the following about the Kings team:
“The Kings have set their sights high and the message from the organization is that they expect to compete for the Stanley Cup this season. After adding Pierre-Luc Dubois they have one of the deepest forward groups in the league and are looking for that depth to carry them deep into the postseason. The big question mark is in net. Can Cam Talbot and Pheonix Copley really lead them to a Cup? At the very least, they have to get out of the first round for the first time since 2014. Anything less is and the season will be viewed as a disappointment.”
The Kings easily can challenge for the Pacific Division title, but the questions in net will be the biggest factor. The Kings play a tough defensive system and always give the Golden Knights a tough time. Can the Kings the challenge for the Pacific? They can, but they will need to figure out what to do in net and get all the pieces clicking together to beat both Vegas and Edmonton.
THREAT LEVEL: High.
