Here's everything to know as the Capitals face the Rangers.

Without Alex Ovechkin, the Washington Capitals found a way to get the job done against the New York Rangers on Saturday. And they'll look to run it back and do it all again to close out a home-and-home on Sunday.

Here is everything to know before puck drop, which takes place at 1 p.m. at Madison Square Garden.

Washington Capitals Line Combinations

The Capitals will have the same lineup as they did on Saturday, as Ovechkin will sit out for the second consecutive game due to a lower-body injury he suffered back on Jan. 5.

Charlie Lindgren will be in net again, marking the first time in his NHL career that he'll get both games of a back-to-back set.

Washington Capitals Injury Report

- Ovechkin will sit out his second consecutive game with a lower-body injury suffered on Jan. 5. He was hurt in a third-period collision with Carolina Hurricanes captain Jordan Staal and took the brunt of the fall to the back of his left leg.

- Sonny Milano will miss his 17th consecutive game with an upper-body injury.

- Rasmus Sandin will miss his fifth consecutive game with an upper-body injury.

Washington Capitals Storylines

- Anthony Mantha has nine goals and six assists for 15 points in his last 22 games dating back to Nov. 29. He leads the team in goals over that span and is tied in first for scoring since then.

- Nic Dowd has points in five of his last seven games.

- T.J. Oshie has points in three of his last four contests.

- Dylan Strome and Max Pacioretty have points in two of their last three games.
