The Washington Capitals are in for a challenge in Game 3, as they head up north and on the road for the first time in the Stanley Cup Playoffs to take on the Montreal Canadiens.

Here's everything to know before puck drop at 7 p.m. at Bell Centre.

Washington Capitals Line Combinations

The Capitals lines will look the same, with Logan Thompson getting the start. Aliaksei Protas is nearing a return and was deemed a "possibility," but is not expected to play.

- Dylan Strome leads the Capitals in scoring these playoffs with a goal and three assists.

- Alex Ovechkin has a team-leading 15 hits, along with two goals and an assist. Look for him to make an impact again.

- Another X-Factor: Anthony Beauvillier, who has been an absolute driver of play on that top line. Keep an eye on him.

- Ryan Leonard leads the Capitals in Corsi-for percentage (63.04), shots-for percentage (68.18) and expected goals-for percentage (82.40) at 5-on-5. Look for him to make an impact.

- Watch out for the second line; Connor McMichael struck twice in Game 2, and Pierre-Luc Dubois and Tom Wilson are overdue for goals of their own.
