The Capitals will make changes after a disappointing showing in the series opener, with Ryan Leonard drawing out for Taylor Raddysh. Logan Thompson will start, and Mitchell Gibson will back up. Charlie Lindgren is out due to personal family reasons.
Here are the combinations:

Connor McMichael-Pierre-Luc Dubois-Tom Wilson
Andrew Mangiapane-Lars Eller-Taylor Raddysh
Brandon Duhaime-Nic Dowd-Anthony Beauvillier
Jakob Chychrun-John Carlson
Rasmus Sandin-Matt Roy
Alex Alexeyev-Trevor van Riemsdyk

- Brandon Duhaime has points in three straight playoff games.
- Dylan Strome leads Washington in scoring with nine points through six playoff games so far.
- Alex Ovechkin has a team-leading four goals through the first five games of the playoffs. Watch for him to be hungry as the Capitals try to even the series.
