July 1

- Capitals sign forward Joshua Dunne to a one-year, $850,000 contract.

- Capitals sign forward Boone Jenner to a four-year, $23 million contract.

- Capitals sign defenseman Vincent Desharnais to a four-year, $16.8 million contract.

- Capitals sign defenseman Justin Holl to a one-year, $900,000 contract.

- Capitals sign forward Jonny Brodzinski to one-year, $850,000 contract.

June 24

- Capitals acquire Jordan Tuch for David Kampf and a third-round pick.

June 23
