ARLINGTON, V.A. — After a rough go of it in Game 1 against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Washington Capitals appear to be changing the lineup — and Ryan Leonard figures to be the odd man out for Game 2.

Leonard took the scratches’ skate with Ethen Frank, Dylan McIlrath and Ethan Bear, indicating he will sit out for Thursday’s contest.

Taylor Raddysh left the ice early and appears set to draw back in after being a healthy scratch for the last three games.

Coach Spencer Carbery wouldn’t discuss the lineup after practice and said the combinations would be revealed in warmups.

If Leonard does sit, it would be his first healthy scratch since signing his entry-level deal and joining D.C. in April. He has one assist through seven playoff games so far, and though he’s generated chances, has struggled to finish on the third line with Lars Eller and Andrew Mangiapane.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m. at Capital One Arena.
