The Capitals took a speedy forward with their seventh-round pick.

The Washington Capitals used their final pick of the 2026 NHL Draft to bring in another forward, selecting Logan Stuart at No. 208 in the seventh round.

Stuart is coming off a key year with the U.S. National Team Development Program, where he had 30 points in 57 games with the U18 Team and 15 points in 23 USHL games. He will play for the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes next season.

The 5-foot-11, 174-pound center is a speedy, shifty player that loves to get to the high-danger areas and makes noise at the netfront. He is able to move the puck well and generate high-danger chances, and he uses his playing style to create space for his teammates to get to the inside.

Washington used all four of its selections to bring in skaters, also drafting Oliver Suvanto (18th), Tyus Sparks (101st), Brian McFaddden (144th) and finally, Stuart.
