The Washington Capitals will see a brand-new Capital One Arena in just over a year's time, as the venue continues to undergo renovations. And on Tuesday, Monumental Sports & Entertainment provided a preview of what to expect when all is said and done next fall.

Capitals legend T.J. Oshie, along with former Washington Wizards point guard John Wall and Hall-of-Famer and former Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne, narrated a video offering a look at the new features and changes coming to the venue in downtown Washington, D.C.

The arena will feature a new-look exterior and several state-of-the-art features, as well as revamped entrances and more accessibility between the 100 and 400 levels, which will be renamed the "District" and "Terrace" levels.

Meanwhile, the arena walls on the concourse will be replaced by over 500 feet of immersive digital displays broadcasting the action live from inside the arena so fans will not miss the action when they leave their seats.

The "Visibowl" is just part of the redesigned and expanded concourses, which will also include new displays depicting D.C. teams' histories and milestones.

One of the depicted displays in the video is a tribute to Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin, and includes plaques describing him breaking the all-time goals record and hitting 1,000 combined career goals between the regular season and playoffs.

There will also be a new variety of concessions and newly designed restrooms, and the arena will additionally feature a new grand food hall.

Capital One Arena is expected to be done undergoing construction in Fall 2027, ahead of Washington's 2027-28 campaign.
