ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals will see a familiar face take the ice on Tuesday as the team kicks off its annual development camp, with Braden Holtby serving as a guest coach.
Holtby will assist goaltending coach Scott Murray and work with the goaltenders at camp.
The goalies attending camp include Mason Beaupit, Antoine Keller, Nicholas Kempf, Collin MacKenzie and Jack Watson.
Holtby still lives in the area and has not played since 2021-22, when he played in 24 games with the Dallas Stars.
The 34-year-old netminder spent 10 years of his storied career with the Capitals, boasting a .916 save percentage, 2.53 GAA and 35 shutouts. He helped lead Washington to the Stanley Cup in 2018.
