ARLINGTON, V.A. — The Washington Capitals have made some front-office changes, which include a promotion for Brian MacLellan.
MacLellan is now the general manager and president of hockey operations. Chris Patrick, who was the assistant general manager, player personnel, has been promoted to associate general manager. Dick Patrick, who served as vice chairman and president of the team, is now the chairman of the Capitals.
