Kuznetsov was cleared earlier in the day to resume practicing with the Capitals.

The Washington Capitals made a major decision on Saturday, placing center Evgeny Kuznetsov on waivers.
General manager Brian MacLellan confirmed the move, adding that Kuznetsov wants a change in scenery, and this is the first step in that direction.
Kuznetsov, who is receiving care from the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program, was cleared earlier in the day to resume practicing with the Capitals. The Russian entered the program at the start of February following the team's return from the NHL All-Star Break.
It has been a tough year for Kuznetsov, who had six goals and 11 assists for 17 points in 43 games while experiencing bouts of inconsistency and other struggles.
The last handful of seasons have been "frustrating" for both Kuznetsov and the Capitals, as MacLellan pointed out on Saturday, and this move allows for a fresh start for each side.
After this season, Kuznetsov has one year left on his contract at $7.8 million. Given his high cap hit, it's unlikely that he would be claimed, but it opens the door to a discussion as MacLellan looks to accommodate his request for a change in environment.
If he clears waivers, he will be assigned to the AHL's Hershey Bears. Whether or not he reports remains to be seen.
